250 Howard Street Enrollment: Approx. 145 Some students need a more structural environment to be successful in their educational experience. The Woods-Wilkins Center provides an educational vehicle by which those middle and high school students who experience chronic behavioral and academic problems can develop skills that will enable them to realize their educational potential. The alternative setting is designed to improve the student’s academic, behavioral and attendance performance with the goal of transitioning the student back into the regular school program. Individualized instruction, intensive use of computer technology, counseling, and social services are the major components of this program.
